Content Hosted by Third Parties

Due to the massive range of topics covered in the eLearning we provide, some of our content is hosted by a third party. These courses communicate with the third party host’s servers to track the progress and time spent on the courses, so that the CPD log on your SkillsServe account is updated correctly. The purpose of this guide is to ensure that you are able to access the learning and that the content functions as it should so you can use SkillsServe as normal.

In order to ensure that the courses track properly and that your CPD log is updated correctly you need to have access to two sites; and . SkillsServe gives you access to the learning in the first place (it is very unlikely that you don’t have access to this) and the second link, to the third party host, is for the communication between the content and the third party. To check that you have access to these sites, simply copy and paste these two links into the address bar in your web browser and press enter. If everything’s working as it should do then the links will just direct you to login pages (as displayed below). You don’t need to do anything; the pages just need to load without any errors which will mean that the courses should work fine for you. If one or both of the pages do not load properly and errors are displayed, then you will need to allow access to the web address(es) via your network's security settings.

As with all our eLearning, your computer needs to meet the specifications for using the system (these can be found in the guide, “Minimum Technical Requirements”) and courses need to be exited properly, using the “Exit” or “X” button within the course, rather than the red cross for the browser window. Provided all of these conditions are met then you will be able to progress with your learning.

The courses that are hosted by the third party are as follows:
